Congratulations to the Regal Eagles who have been awarded the Engineering Inspiration Award at the FIRST Robotics Competition LI Regional #2. They have earned the right to attend FIRST Robotics Competition World Championships in Houston with NASA covering their registration!

Boy am I enjoying The Sound of Music tonight at BHS. The Masquers Guild performance is amazing. What a dedicated group of students and staff. Final performance is tomorrow @7pm. You don't want to miss it.

During this week's Board of Education meeting, Kramer Lane students and staff presented some of the great programs and initiatives happening around the school. This included the new fifth grade Jazz Band, Kindness Club, and a trivia challenge that a first grader created!

Congratulations to the Regal Eagles for being awarded the Gracious Professionalism Award at the FIRST Robotics Competition Long Island Regional #1. They were recognized for their professionalism and sportsmanship in their interaction with other teams, judges, and mentors.

Jazz musicians from the Louis Armstrong House Museum recently visited Kramer Lane students to educate them on the history of jazz music. The jazz musicians have been traveling to each school in the district in celebration of Music In Our Schools Month!

Six science research projects from Bethpage High School were recently awarded at the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair. Congratulations to Ankur Raghavan, Zoe Chinda, Parisa Pitranggon, Devaanshi Kawatra, Miraj Shah, Joy Kim, Sofia Maciel-Seidman and Riya Saha! Joy, Sofia and Riya will also advance to the International Science and Engineering Fair this May!

On Friday, March 17, 2023, the Regal Eagles had the pleasure of getting to meet Town Supervisor Joseph Saladino, Assemblyman Jake Blumencranz, & some friends from Optimum. We appreciate their interest in the Regal Eagles & continued advocacy for Robotics & STEM in our region.

I had a great time at the Empty Bowls Fundraiser! All funds raised to help fight hunger! Great job to Ms. Cardo and her Ceramic Artists as well as the musical talents on display by Matthew Schneider. I even got to walk away with bowls inspired by Ameshi, Emily, and Yamileth.

Great 21st Century activity with Mrs Cardo, Empty Bowls as a fundraiser for Island Harvest tonight at BHS. Great Art work with our pottery students combining with a great cause.

Elementary students from throughout the district recently received a special visit from children’s book author and editor Shana Corey! Ms. Corey spoke with students about her books and her life as an author.

On Sunday, March 12, 2023, Bethpage High School opened its doors to 24 teams that earned the right to participate at FIRST Technology Challenge Long Island Championships. Many of the Regal Eagles served in a volunteer capacity to support the event.

Bethpage Schools and the Regal Eagles are excited and proud to partner with FIRST Long Island to host the FIRST Technology Challenge Long Island Championships on Sunday, March 12, 2023. The stage is set! Good luck to all participating teams!!
