Yesterday, Central Boulevard students kicked off Nutrition Week with the help of Brian Richards and his assembly program, The Magic of 5-A-Day! Through magic tricks and comedy, the students learned about the importance of a balanced diet which includes five servings of fruits and vegetables each day. They also learned about how the colors of fruits and vegetables benefit different parts of the body and how to know the difference between “sometimes food” and “all-the-time food.”

A gingerbread baby got loose at Kramer Lane today! Kindergarten students were on the case as they searched the building for clues and found him. They then enjoyed making their own gingerbread cookies with the help of some special guests! #WeAreBethpage
