Students and staff across Bethpage Schools supported "PS I Love You Day" on Friday, February 14, 2025.
P.S. I Love You Day is a registered non-profit organization in New York State, dedicated to eradicating the stigma around mental health. Their mission is to instill hope for those affected by mental illness, fostering a supportive environment and a community where everyone feels welcomed, loved, and supported. Students and staff were encouraged to wear purple in an effort to create a "sea of purple" to help convey to students, staff, and families that they are NEVER ALONE, and that all of us MATTER!
Any funds raised each year through this initiative is donated to the PS I Love You Day Foundation, local mental health organizations, and back to our own schools.
