STUDENTS MAKING GINGERBREAD HOUSES

The holiday spirit was alive and well at Kramer Lane School this morning as first grade students gathered in the cafeteria for a festive and creative event—building gingerbread houses! With the help of a special guest, students transformed simple milk cartons into sturdy foundations for their sugary creations, layering them with graham crackers and decorating with an assortment of colorful embellishments.

From gumdrops and pretzels to marshmallows, sprinkles and candy canes, the decorating options seemed endless, sparking the students' imaginations. Laughter and the sweet sounds of Christmas music filled the air as the young designers worked on their houses, adding their personal touches to each edible masterpiece.

The event was a heartwarming celebration of the season, fostering creativity, joy and a sense of community. It was a delightful way to ring in the holidays, leaving both students and their special guest with memories as sweet as the treats they used.
