ESY Students visit Center for Science Teaching and Learning

Last Friday, primary students from Bethpage’s ESY summer program enjoyed an exciting trip to the Center for Science Teaching and Learning at Tanglewood Preserve in Rockville Centre. Accompanied by their dedicated one-on-one aides, the students explored the fascinating dinosaur and live animal museum, where they were captivated by the impressive animatronic dinosaurs and delighted by the variety of live animals on display. A highlight of the visit was feeding the goats, which quickly became a favorite activity. The students also had a blast digging for fossils in the center’s archeological dig area and got up close with some of the live animals, including a curious rabbit and a few fascinating reptiles. It was an unforgettable day filled with hands-on learning and discovery!
