This summer marked the return of ESY Suds, an exciting feature of the Bethpage Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Program! ESY Suds is a community laundry service managed and operated by Bethpage’s talented students. The service ran during the third and fourth weeks of the ESY Summer Program.
Community members were invited to register in advance and drop off their laundry at Bethpage High School on Monday mornings. Over the next few days, the dedicated ESY students meticulously sorted, washed, dried, and folded their customers’ clothes. By Thursday, the clothing was ready for pick-up.
ESY Suds was a resounding success, providing a valuable service to the community while teaching essential skills to our students!
