Central Boulevard School Red Ribbon Week

It was a busy and exciting week at Central Boulevard School. Red Ribbon Week is an annual event at our school that not only promotes drug awareness but also fosters a sense of community and learning.  One of the highlights of the week was dress-up days. Students and staff dressed in styles from different decades to PJs that set the stage for educational activities.

A heartwarming aspect of this week was the visit from the Bethpage High School students as they dedicated time to teach important lessons  to our fourth and fifth grade students on Be Kind to Your Mind with a focus on self care. The high school students served as role models to their younger peers leaving a lasting impact on them.

Safety was another critical aspect of this week. The Bethpage Fire Department joined us to conduct a fire safety assembly. Students learned essential fire tips, like stop, drop and roll,  & having a family meeting point. This experience was exciting as students interacted with local heroes and gained valuable knowledge about staying safe.

Red Ribbon Week was a fun and educational experience for everyone at school. It was a week of community bonding that will surely leave a lasting impact on our students. To end the week we are all looking forward to the Halloween Bash at the Field on Friday October 27th!
