On Monday, May 1, 2023, News 12 held their Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of their new studios in Bethpage and invited two groups at Bethpage High School to their event.
The Bethpage High School Marching Band under the direction of Ms. Warnokowski kicked off the event by leading a resounding procession to the main stage. The Bethpage High School Robotics Team, Regal Eagles, were provided a table in the marketplace area among other community organizations and provided robot demonstrations as well as spread awareness about robotics and STEM.
Both groups felt extremely privileged to attend this event that featured chief executive officers, elected community and county officials, community organizations, television personalities, as well as other business professionals.
Students were provided tours of the brand new state-of-the-art News 12 studios and got to meet and take pictures with News 12 on-air personalities.
