Grades K and 3 had lots of fun the past few weeks learning how to program Beebots and Lego Spike Essential kits, and then watching their programming come "alive".

Kramer Lane fifth graders and their parents enjoyed a fun filled competitive evening at our annual Sports Night. Mr. Zito’s well designed activities led the parents to their first victory in years. Thank you everyone for a great night!!

Celebrating our budding writers in First Grade at Kramer Lane! Students crafted My Wonderful World books, showcasing the many wonders that make our world special. Today was day 3 of Red Ribbon Week at Kramer Lane and students were excited to show off their crazy hair and hats today to emphasize the theme, “From head to toe I am drug free.” The creativity was out of this world!!
Kramer Lane continued Red Ribbon Week today with visitors from the BHS SADD Club who did wonderful presentations on making healthy choices with all 4th and 5th grade classes. Thank you Bethpage High School students!!
As part of their science unit, Grade 4 students had a memorable time examining our local ecosystem, Bethpage State Park. Various sections of the park were explored, including the Picnic area, Golf course, and “Discovery Center” (which has over 100 flora species, all labeled with identifying signage to familiarize students with different native plants).
A big thank you to the Bethpage Park ecologists which educated our students on how our park is an important biological community full of wildlife, greenery, and ponds that provide ecosystem services to the local suburban area and its inhabitants.
Harper and the rest of the Grade 3 students at Kramer Lane Elementary School were excited to receive their brand new district-issued touchscreen Google Chromebooks!
