Central Boulevard students in Barbara Cataldi and Erika Lemaire’s second grade class celebrated the Thanksgiving holiday by making their own individual apple pies on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. With the help of parent volunteers, each student brought in their own supplies and followed a recipe. The second graders had fun mixing the ingredients and filling their pie crust. After assembling their pies, one of the parent volunteers took the pies home to bake in the oven. When they were done, the pies were delivered back to the school for students to take home and enjoy with their loved ones on Thanksgiving.
