Prior to the Thanksgiving holiday, Central Boulevard fifth graders in Mrs. Seidita's class and second graders in Ms. Cataldi and Mrs. Lemaire's class joined together to create new floats for this year's Thanksgiving's Day parade. The teams worked collaboratively to use their creativity and science knowledge to develop a new balloon idea. They also had to make sure it would be free standing to float in the parade. The students reaped the reward of sharing and constructing knowledge, as well as establishing friendships, all while having fun!
