Central Boulevard Elementary School students celebrated Thoughtful Thursday on November 17, 2022. The school partnered with the Nassau County Veterans Service Agency for a special activity that allowed students to show their appreciation for veterans. This amazing agency, which was recommended by second grade teacher Mrs. Parascondola, provides primary care and specialty health care for veterans. This includes mental health services and rides to doctor appointments. Central Boulevard students created cards which will be distributed into different care packages for the veterans. When the veterans pick up a package, full of whatever their personal needs are, they will receive a card from one of our Central Boulevard students.
