Apple Cider

ACACACThis week, CBS Kindergarten students experienced a blend of hands-on learning and fun during the Apple Cider Press Program. It was a fantastic opportunity for young learners to explore apples through song, sensory activities, and cider making.

The program kicked off with the students singing cheerful songs about apples, setting a lively and engaging tone. These songs not only introduced them to the wonders of apples but also got everyone excited for the activities ahead.

Next, the students explored apples using all five senses. They touched the apples, smelled the fresh aroma, examined their colors and shapes, listened to the crunch of the apples, and finally, tasted the delicious fruit. The highlight of the day, however, was making fresh apple cider. With guidance, the children took turns using the cider press, watching as the apples transformed into cider. There was pure excitement in the air as they worked together to make the sweet beverage.

Of course, the part they enjoyed most was tasting the apple cider they had just made. Their smiles and cheers were proof of how much they enjoyed the experience. It was a memorable day, filled with joy, learning, and apple-flavored fun. The Apple Cider Press Program gave our Kindergarten students a chance to learn about apples in a hands-on and interactive way, creating lasting memories in the process.
