On Friday, March 31, 2023, 14 members of the Bethpage High School student body participated in "The White House Experience" at LIU Post. The university's Roosevelt School recently converted a mansion into a White House replica, including the oval office, situation room, press room, etc. Our students participated in real-world scenarios as the president, cabinet, and national security council. Additionally, students engaged in mock press briefings: questions and answers as the press corps. We would like to thank LIU's Dr. Andy Person and Dr. Christopher Adams for facilitating our visit and Mr. Kevin Healy for joining us in such a monumental opportunity.
